Citrus trees have been grown in America for centuries, but for most of us, Florida comes to mind when thinking of citrus. The National Tropical Botanical Garden's Kampong Garden in Coconut Grove, FL sheds some light on how citrus and other tropical fruits came to be part of the American diet.
